Fire Extinguishers
Available froom 5lbs – 20 lbs
Each fire extinguisher will be defined by its effectiveness depending on the type of fire to fight. These are ideal to fight a fire in its initial phase and avoid spreading it. You can find 5 different types of fire:
- Class A: (fires in ordinary combustibles such as wood, paper, plastic, etc.)
- Class B: (fire in flammable liquids, such as gasoline, paint, oils, etc.)
- Class C: (fire involving energized electrical equipment such as computers, servers, motors, transformers, etc.)
- Class K: (fires in cooking oils and greases or oil storage)
- Class D: Fires in combustible metals, such as magnesium, sodium, or aluminum powder)
ABC Fire Extinguisher: they are multipurpose fire extinguishers that use a dry chemical powder.
CO2 Fire Extinguisher: removes the oxygen in the fire, with a snow cloud like discharge. It is effective for Class B fires, caused by flammable liquids. Add Class C fires.
Type K Extinguisher: made of a dry chemical powder that contains potassium bicarbonate. Effective in Class B and Class K.
AFF Foam Fire Extinguishers: effective in Class A and B fires and these are used when it might be an electricity danger or Class B risks.
HALOTRON Fire Extinguishers its use, is recommended in areas that were previously protected by Halon fire extinguishers, such as computer rooms, telephone facilities, clean rooms, data storage areas, offices (for protection of electronic sensitive equipment), boats and vehicles.
